He is indeed beyond belief. Of course once you are PM you can get all kinds of laws past that mean that PMs cannot be prosecuted or sent to prison.
Surely, surely, surely the Italians will not vote him in again, after all that has passed. The economy! The scandals! The corruption! The sheer blooming stupidity of electing a PM that owns a chunk of the media!
Not beyond the realms though is it, given they have before and given that they probably don't like the idea of austerity and knuckling down to what Merkel says they should be doing.
