Many of the presents I received will either be "re-gifted" or go to the charity shop, but what I'll keep and treasure are the gift-tags saying "to dear Annie" or "Dearest Nana".

Faye, that's wonderful indeed! I remember the time of Charlie's operation and how fraught everything was for you all. Bless him! smile

That's fantastic, Faye. I remember Charlie having his op and how anxious you were. It's wonderful that he has made such a good recovery smile

What a lovely time for you faye and well done to Charlie he is a little super star indeed, our best time over xmas came when DGS2 arrived at DDs house on Xmas morning and while this does not sound too interesting it is the fact that he had not spoken to my DD for 3 yrs as he did not get on with her now x-husband his step father,he always vowed to never talk to her again until she got him out of her life and now that has happened (18mths ago) he has matured and been to make his peace with his mum.It was the best thing in the world to hear her crying down the phone to tell me he had turned up at 9am on xmas morning.

Faye that was such a nice story and reminds us that we may think we have troubles but actually compared to a child being sick we probably haven't. So glad for that your GS is now well!!

I have learn't this year that Christmas presents don't always come wrapped. My eldest son said something very kind to me just before Christmas and I heard from a relative that I hadn't seen for a while...
