I went to see Cinderella with DD & DGD (her first Panto) and we all had a brilliant time. The audience participation was great, cast superb although they are all amateurs, and it was fun to see all the children enjoying themselves and joining in.
Just such a wonderfully British Christmas tradition grin

Wonderful. Been to see Puss in Boots with 6 and 3 year olds, both ended up on stage! Loved every silly minute of it grin

Yes I do, and took two of the grandchildren to their first Cinderella on Boxing Day. The look on their faces was just something to behold....they loved every minute and helped me to relive my own pleasures in years gone by.

DH and I went today with our GDs (aged 6) to see Aladdin - a bit over-long but the girls loved it, and so did the rest of the children in the audience. I think it's a good old-fashioned tradition that shouldn't be allowed to die out.

I have been to the panto Cinderella today with the middle 3 DGC,. oldest at 18 it was a no go and the youngest at 2 wont leave his Mum. I have had a great day with them all but now feel a bit deflated.

Does anyone else still like an old fashioned Panto.
