Those figures don't surprise me. I abhor betting shops - there are far too many of them on the high streets (well certainly on mine). On Boxing Day I trailed off for a lone walk through our very quiet town - but blow me down if the damn betting shop wasn't open with its usual clientele of people who look like they really can't afford to be gambling.
