Have you noticed that the threads that go on for the longest time and get the most posts, are the threads when gransnetters are talking about themselves?

smile smile smile Today I was emailed yet another Wee Man pic. He has a toy cooker, which he loves. His mummy took the photo of him asleep, surrounded by all sorts of gadgets. What I'd give to bend down and stroke his hair and plant a soft kiss on his cheek. Will upload in a mo'...

Thanks, when...and may I add that your "bolthole" is a special place.

Lovely photos again Soop Have I mentioned before that your "wee man" looks so like my "wee man" And they share a name - Alexander - tho' mine is Sandy and has big blue eyes. The gorgeous sleeping picture was bittersweet for me as I have been reminded this week, by himself, that he is no longer my 'wee' man but in fact a big school boy who will be 6 on Valentine's Day. How can this be? he was a babe in my arms yesterday confused

Granny23 I know what you mean. I can see Wee Man hauling himself around the house, using his elbows. He's three in April. Those baby days seem very distant. smile

He is adorable. Does anyone else wonder why we say "wee man" when talking about boys but never "wee woman" when talking about girls? Just wondered!

Sometimes out of devilment I find it an interesting exercise to ssek an older less popular thread that seems interesting and then to add my words of wisdom. That generally results in the final demise of the thread. Probably because everyone thinks "What is this twit going on about?". On rare occasions however the thread can be revived for some more interesting posts.

On all forums once a thread starts to progress down the time line it is overlooked no matter what its merits. More often there is simply no more to be said.

That's true. And more opinions from a widening set of members might be a good thing.
