What has happened to GN just lately?

It seems to me that the atmosphere here has changed recently, last month it was lovely and cosy with friendly remarks and a general feeling of goodwill and a willingness to support and comfort if necessary. Over the past two weeks or so there seems to have been a surfeit of sarcasm, sniping and school child accusations e.g. "I didn't start it, she did!" What on earth has happened? sad

annodomini Mon 21-Jan-13 19:15:32

Good news, celeb. About time too and let's hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about. But you have to be on the safe side.

bless you Gracesmum I did a thread!! thank you for asking it went very well, Dr Wakelin, older chap new to practice stand in for Dr who is on mat leave was marvellous!! He sent me off for xray on thumb and has referrred me to orthapedic chap did letter while I was there! little eccentric but soo helpful, also given me 10 days 500mg anti biotics like me he is allergic to penicicllin but can take Keflex which is what I am on, he recommends natural yogurt twice day while on them.
So feel happy something being done!

GOOD NEWS ALSO MY BLOOD PRESSURE was fine when he took it! it was before he seems to have good affect on me!!

gracesmum Sun 20-Jan-13 19:54:42

celeb - what was the outcome of your visit to the doctor? Have I missed that?

cheelu Sun 20-Jan-13 19:52:24

here here Harigan

celebgran Sun 20-Jan-13 19:29:56

harigran I do totally agree with your posting.

We all come from different walks of life and if someone wants something more suitable there must be lots of other Forums available?

Moveadelot I think that is excellent advice of course we should support someone if they have been unfairly treated.

Was it Whenim that said sorry if not least said soonest mended?
good to see Cheelu posting again lets hope we can put this to bed and live happy ever after more or less!!!
I can only speak personally that I have received so much support and lovely p messages and have built a rapport with others in my sad situation also so it works for me!
Do totally agree sorry think was Harrigran said if someone wants heavier discusions then surely they can ignore the lighter banter?
personally I do no feel in mood for heavy discussions allthe time! come on her for some escapism!!

agapanthus What a good idea! Why not post "Now Now" it sounds as if it might strike a few chords. Or you could ring the bell for the end of playtime. wink

annodomini Sun 20-Jan-13 18:36:20

I prefer a sin bin, the way it's done in Rugby matches.

Movedalot Sun 20-Jan-13 18:04:28

Sorry folks, it must be that time of night grin wine

Movedalot Sun 20-Jan-13 18:03:58

Marelli it would explain our marriage too I suppose but as we are so different I just put it down to love because it is certainly not a logical partnership. grin

Would wine make it easier or would it become much worse? wine

cheelu Sun 20-Jan-13 18:02:31

Or a bunch of fives grin

Marelli Sun 20-Jan-13 17:57:45

Or a water cannon! grin

annodomini Sun 20-Jan-13 17:56:53

A referee with a whistle, possibly. Plus red and yellow cards if needed grin

cheelu Sun 20-Jan-13 17:55:07
