I know, for most of you, the day has been going on for some time but for me it's just starting. blush

I heaved myself out of bed to watch Murray v Federer which could be a long haul. Intend to go for a wee swim later and relax my aching joints in the steam room.

It's a s l o w day for me too as I've been in bed with the dreaded lurgy and I'm only just up.

Keep warm Ella. I am having a very slow day, the bread I am making is taking longer to rise than usual, and I am playing with my iPad whilst I wait.

Still in dressing gown, very slooooow day. Not good at slow days.
Tend to think too much when not busy, which these days I am not busy
enough except when at work.
ENJOY to all those who like a slooow day.

I have had a little nod-off curled up in my "reading chair" by the radiator. hmm

Oh yes movedalot - you've got a reason. sad

I'm just knackered.

Ana Fri 25-Jan-13 17:17:15

I think the cold weather makes you more knackered tired. That's my theory, anyway!

Moved Stay on that sofa for as long as you can!

DGD, (Y12) who has no lessons every other Friday, and is at a schol up the road, popped in and we watched the De Caprio "Romeo and Juliet" (which she had not seen) together. Bliss; not DH's cup of tea at all, so it was good to have literate company. 4 years into retirement and I can still complete almost every line!

Remember, I have never had GC close by before, and this is one of the wonderful benefits.

DH is away, so off to DD tonight for wine and pizza. I am spoilt - and loving it. grin And shopping tomorrow with DD and DGD - again, many years without this impromptu pleasure makes it all the more special.
