Whatever a persons religion council leisure centers are there for all of the comunity at all times.
If it is against any ladies religion to exercise in a mixed class she should find a private class which is ladies only and finance it herself.
I go to classes where the majority are ladies and in all the years I hae been going there has been 1 complaint and that was I was a man in an aerobics class.
I had been going to that class for years and up until that point there had been no complaints.
My friend was annoyed with his council once as they tried to make a class which he had been attending for 20 years ladies only.

Now absent that's naughty, you should know what happens when you bring religion into the argument discussion grin

Clearly you don't live in an area with a high Muslim population – or at least not one with Muslim women who like to exercise. grin

frank which classes were ladies only? I am surprised the council advertised them as such in the first place.
It reminds me of Stockport Swimming Baths in the 50's when there were two separate pools, the Ladies Plunge and the Men's Plunge.
We used to daringly peer in to the Men's Plunge on our way out and wonder what they got up to in there that was so peculiar that we weren't allowed in!!

Myself and a few other men have complained to our local leisure centre about classes which only ladies can use.
Our argument was they were not providing men only classes and if the ladies wanted ladies only classes without equivalent men only classes the ladies which use these classes should pay extra as it is a council leisure centre for everybody to use.
They have done a survey and found that none of the ladies going to these classes were bothered about men being in them.
As far as I am concerned any ladies who want ladies only classes should go to private gyms.
The membership fees are a lot higher than the local leisure centre but that is their problem.
