This thread made me LOL too. I'm a bit scatty and husband is ruthlessly efficient and has 'a place for everything and everything etc.' so from time to time I get a lecture. But I just tell him I subscribe to chaos theory - and there's order in my chaos. Or I wait until he walks away and then pull a face behind his back. [childish emoticon]. Makes me feel better.

Before my DH died he put together a drawer full of things he though I might need, amongst them was a large retractable tape measure. I needed it the other day and it is not there - I must have put it down somewhere but I can't for the life of me remember where!

Trying to tidy my house at the moment and have realised that the majority of the things that are untidy are the things I haven't put back.....
...or never found a place for in the first place.....
