A fine figure of a man - or a silly vain old fool? Testosterone supplements anyone?

ana - isnt it amazing what a bit of airbrushing can achieve in terms of making a body look less wrinkly. (I was referring to the pic on the billboard ad)

I'm a bit bemused - how is this any different to any bodybuilder taking hormones to bulk up their muscles - except that this one has got a commercial thing going.
As the article says - there are always health risks.

Oh, couldn't agree more, Gracesmum!

Gosh this is a hard one (no reference to the Viagra thread)
Is he a silly vain old fool or is he a silly vain old fool? hmm who is he kidding? My vote is for silly vain old fool.

"Take what you want" say the gods. "Take, and pay for it."

Somehow this disturbs me; not so much the keeping fit etc, but the excessiveness of it all.

Think I'll keep Theseus the way he is. Well, not the way he is right now ( on crutches etc) but normally is!

30 seconds! Is there a link?!

FlicketyB Wed 06-Feb-13 17:33:46

I have yet to see a 40 year old that looked so old. I would say he was in his late 60s.

Think of all the exciting interesting things he could be doing with his life if he wasnt spending all his time nurturing his rather revolting looking body.

Dr Michael Horsley (he of the Intermittent Fasting (5:2) diet was on Horizon last week showing how to keep fit with about 30 seconds of intense activity a day. makes much more sense to me.

grin

I'm not sure he's doing too well actually. Is it normal to have varicose veins in your arms?

j08 Wed 06-Feb-13 17:16:01

Ooh! Ana's picture looks a bit weird. Why do all those veins stand out like that? Is that good or not? confused

j08 Wed 06-Feb-13 17:14:16

I don't know the ins and outs of testosterone replacement, but you can't fault him for keeping fit. I think his bod looks good tbh.

Ana Wed 06-Feb-13 17:13:50

And here he is in pensive mood (and looking a bit more wrinkly, I have to say...)

Dr Life in moody pose

Dr Life (his real name he claims) busts his gut to keep it looking like a fit 40 year old's. And injects himself with testosterone. And makes money out of his personal "brand".
Would you like your DH to have a body like his?
