What to Wear to the Palace

Help. My friend got an MBE and I have been invited. What should I wear? I can never get clothes to fit (I am nearly six foot) and after hip replacement, one ankle size of elephant's. My clothes are very casual, jeans etc. and Long Tall Sally only have casual or black synthetic office wear. Any helpful advice, suggestions? One member was very helpful re shoes!! There is no 'smiley' for desperate.

Hi B If I were you I would just wear something comfortable and just be yourself and enjoy the day smile
