Good Morning Friday

In Normandy the temperature is hovering around freezing and dropping below overnight. Today there is a nasty cold wind that makes it feel even colder. We have decided to shut ourselves in ramp up the stove and snuggle down in front of it

Oh yes brownie points for us we took old dear elderly neighbour shopping with us to morrisons.

Got home put home made soup on and my twin called round was working in area lovely not seen him for ages ! So good day make up for yesterday Bad day!

The trouble is I'm only in on Fridays!
I have DD and DGD visiting today and I've only just got the iPad to myself!

I swear by local repairers. They have no call-out charge and one of them, having told me that the part I needed was no longer made, then said he would improvise it by cutting down another part. And it lasted several more years.

Phew don't talk about supply of goods see thread ref bathroom!

Lovely day. Up to 8.degrees .sheets on the line and dry by 5pm.first time washing out this year and it smells so fragrant. It,s the little things in life....

We contacted a local repairer the other week when the bearings finally went on a 13yr old Zannussi washing machine. They collected it Wednesday morning and returned it Friday afternoon. It's now running very quietly again.
I do wonder with the big contractors how determined they are to repair things?

Washing on the line today..bright and sunny here in Surrey! Sunshine has motivated me to tidy a cupboard and i might just tackle the cupboard under the stairs!

That is disgracefully bad service, Galen. It would be worthwhile notifying the retailer you bought it from because it's really their responsibility under the supply of goods and services act.

Having been two weeks without a washing machine, the engineer came today!
Result, he has to order a new mother board and will return and fit it next Friday!
