Robe for adult baptism

I was baptised in an ordinary dress (in a river!). I've baptised several women and people have worn a variety of clothing; there are usually no rules. If that's what she'd like then a lined kaftan (swimsuit worn underneath) in a lightweight cotton will be fine. In fact as soon as your daughter comes out of the water someone will hand her a towel, so you're really just thinking about how she looks going into the water. All the people I've baptised recently have worn swimsuits and T shirts/shorts. I hope you have a wonderful day. I have two (adult male) friends also being baptised on Easter Day, but will miss the service because I shall be away.
