George Clooney, Cary Grant, Jeremy Irons. I used to like Mel Gibson but gone off him after some recent revelations - don'.t ask me what they are, I forgot. Yes to Colin Firth but only as Fitzwilliam Darcy.

I find very few American actors attractive.
Yes there are many handsome ones. But that seems to be where it stops.
Full stop. Just handsome then a void.

Give me an English actor any day!!
Richard Burton or Oliver Reed maybe? The list could be endless.
Hugh Laurie? Ralph Fiennes?

George Clooney any day, and all day. Used to have him as the wallpaper on my desktop.

Cary Grant.

Carry Grant and Little Joe from Bonanza were handsome. I think it's the good lookers with a twinkle in the eye do it and if they make you laugh, well that's it, job done. wink

I like George Clooney but I am still partial to a bit of home grown talent in the guise of Colin Firth, yep in Pride and Prejudice coming out of the water but also I love how he looks in Bridget Jones, mmm. grin

Gregory Peck was my idol. It was that clean-cut look that got me. Liked Gary Cooper too - that shows my vintage, doesn't it?

I think you might mean Churchill the dog, Envious?

Even after he was revealed to be gay, I still thought that Rock Hudson was one of the most handsome men in films. Then I got quite fond of Sydney Poitier, nowadays I find Denzil Washington quite fanciable.

George Clooney and Kevin Costner were mentioned as nice swaps. It got me thinking.I liked Paul Newman lying on Patricia Neal's bed in "HUD",William Holden lying on Gloria Swanson's couch in "Sunset Boulevard" also William Powell in any Thin man movie.Im a baby boomer that likes the heart throbs of the past I'm afraid! Even Eli Wallach was a nice sight lying in Carroll Baker's crib with the slats down holding his riding crop.in the movie "BabyDoll". Sigh....now I would be happy just listening to Martin Clunes talk. loved that dog Asda!
