Why is this thread still extant when the event was over and done with last Sunday?

It would be interesting to know which member holds the record for most posts deleted.

One of the posts that was deleted was addressed to me. I did not ask for it to be deleted.

Difficult to see how that could be done, jings, other than the way it is done already. Also, I don't think we should 'pass the buck' to someone else – we should be in control of what we say on it. Mostly, we are, but there are some slip ups when people get annoyed about something. We're only human.

I reported the first post. I think whoever at GN deleted that one would have seen the other post and, as it was in the same vein, would have deleted that too. I think if people are going to run a website such as this, they should take some responsibility for what goes on on it.

j08 One post was deleted probably because only one post was reported by someone or even lots of someones. I dare say if you or someone else reports the second one, that will be deleted to.

Have we not had enough on this subject? Everyone seems to have had their say, vented their spleen or expressed their admiration ad nauseam at length and I do wonder why we can't move on? Alternatively could we have a Thatcher hate/love thread and the rest of us could just ignore it?

Anne Williams, Nonu was the mother of one of the Hiillsborough victims who fought tirelessly for a truthful account of the tragedy rather than the police cover-up. She was diagnosed last Autumn, I believe, with terminal cancer, but at least saw some justice for her dead son and other victims before she died.

The OTT reaction of the media has been has sickening.
This morning Anne Williams , one of the leaders of the fight for justice for the Hillsborough families, died.
This lady was respected by everyone from all over the country. I wonder if the media will give her death as much prominence. I think not!
