People thrown out of restaurant.

I could not believe my eyes today.
I was having a pleasant lunch with my Granddaughters, Sons in law and daughters and 5 people who supported my fathers deceased ex in saying that she should have had the house which I inherited from my parents walked in and gave me abuse.
They were asked to leave and did so.
This restaurant was about 15 miles from where I live so they drove there for nothing.
Don't people think it is time this nonsense is forgotten as it is not achieving anything.

Frank how did they know which restaurant you were going to be in ?

Galen Sun 14-Apr-13 18:42:25

Confabulation?

Enviousamerican Sun 14-Apr-13 18:45:43

Frank,I'd like to know why these people can't mind their own business.

I don't know. I think the manager should have charged them for the most expensive meal on the menu as they reserved a table and did not have a meal.

I agree with what you are saying or they should take me to court.

Wouldn't there be a statute of limitations on such things?

NfkDumpling Sun 14-Apr-13 18:52:25

Does your deceased father's deceased ex have offspring who could benefit? I mean why are they still persisting with this vendetta? Is there Irish or gypsy blood there somewhere? They like a good scrap.

Nonu Sun 14-Apr-13 18:56:36

Envious , do not go there , you have no idea what can of worms will be opened

My father split with this woman just over 3 years before his death.
I have half owned and lived in the house since 2004. My mother left me her half and my father's half was willed to me.
Legally she had no chance of getting the house.

There are some offspring.
I don't know if there is any Irish in the family.
I never asked.

Frank yes I've seen your postings. You just mentioned them taking you to court and I didn't want you to be worried it might happen.

A will can be contested for up to 6 months after the grant of probate although an extension may be given if the circumstances are exceptional for example the contestant did not know about the death.

I have heard rumours on the grapevine , that hunterf will be joining the B"ham meeting .
That is the Dogs B-----s you are sooo luckey to meet him face to face ,
will be able to report back what a nice guy he is .

£100 says he will be busy on the day .

Any takers ?

absent Sun 14-Apr-13 19:11:44

Frank – these people, if they actually exist outside a fertile imagination, are not contesting the will. The woman who might have contested the will, but didn't, is apparently dead. Pleased let it go before you make yourself ill.

I would like them to take me to court. They would run up a large legal bill and get nothing.

Frank

HUNTERF They may have been difficult but that is simply malicious.

Lilygran Sun 14-Apr-13 19:18:20

How can they take you to court????

Lilygran Sun 14-Apr-13 19:19:26

You could go to your solicitor and ask advice! These people are obviously stalking you. Go to the police!

Enviousamerican Sun 14-Apr-13 19:24:21

Frank,as long as your not worried than,we won't either.smile

I have had no problems with these people for weeks.
We only booked the table about an hour before we arrived so I think it was a coincidence they turned up today.
