A shocking ending to a joyous occasion. Three deaths is, of course, three too many but let us hope that there are no more. Let us hope too that those who are injured make a speedy and complete recovery both physically and emotionally.

Very, very sad sad
Sad too that the presenters of BBC Breakfast are 'bleeding' the story and asking witnesses inane and almost ghoulish questions about the scene. Have turned it off.

Evil bastards, planned the explosions 3 hours after the winner finished to affect the most people and at the finish line so plenty of photographers. I fear a terrorist link. evil pure evil. My heart is with the poor people of Boston who were cheering on the runners.

Nanaej Totally agree there are some truly wicked people in this world.

POGS the world is a crazy place and with the London Marathon only days away, we should be extremely concerned here too.

I am appalled. It will mean nothing to Americans but I feel great sadness for America today. The world is a crazy place and I send respect to ALL countries suffering with such vile creatures in their midst.
