I should be ashamed of myself!

cathy I have asked that they take us off the system so many times, I should have a recorded message and today to get another call in the middle with a fight with a duvet cover was just too much for my temper

A dear friend of mine tried to cancel her late husband's telephone account with a well known company. He had died only a month before. They said that they could only cancel if they could talk to him. She tried to explain again that he had died but they still insisted that they had to speak to the account holder. She was so distraught that she put the phone down. What absolutely stupid and ignorant people. Obviously not properly trained. She emailed them explaining the whole sorry story and got an apology but it really is disgusting.

We have the same phone number as a takeaway except last two digits are transposed. I would get calls at all sorts of hours, when I kindly pointed out we weren't who they thought we were I would get some choice language in my shell-like.
One day the same person rang about four times from a mobile, on the fifth phone call I took the order

glass we r all human don't worry about it kid ,they are lucky they did not do that to me whilst I was changing the duvet cover else it would have much worse than go to hell

As soon as I realise it's a sales person I put the phone down, can't be bothered listening to all the speel and they usually ring when I am eating a meal. It's less stressful.
