Good morning Mick and everyone else. Nice and sunny here in SW France too - hopefully we will have a beautiful day without the cold wind we had for the latter part of yesterday.

Good morning, beautiful morning here, on the south coast, not sure about the polo shirt though. First bowls match of the season this afternon, just a friendly, so no pressure! Thank goodness the wind has dropped, can't play against that, and it was so cold. Enjoy your day.

Good morning, beautiful sunny start to the morning here in West Cheshire. Noticed the first leaves starting to appear on the raspberry canes and the blackcurrant bush-plenty of weeding to be done too. Hope you all have a good day.

Lovely day for a trip to Darlington!

Greatnan Sat 20-Apr-13 08:50:10

I have this image of our lovely members converging on Darlington - I hope it is ready for you. envy

After three days of Spring last week, it poured down yesterday and this morning it was snowing. I might even give my walk a miss today.

Good morning everyone. It's a glorious sunny morning here in South Cheshire. I've been for my usual walk across the fields with the hounds then back through the old churchyard. Lots of bird life here, pheasant's, woodpeckers, robins, wrens, to name but a few.

Giorno fine and sunny here in Palermo .

Butty Sat 20-Apr-13 09:30:41

Nippy wind, but beautiful sunshine. Picked and prepped rhubarb from the garden. Cooking for 8 this evening with 2 guest staying over. Busy weekend ahead.

Good morning Mick, et al , another day anothe dollar .
Lovely here in East Anglia , makes you glad to be alive,
Just back from buying curries for tonight from M/S , so much easier than making from scratch .
I do so love a curry , the hotter the better , in fact I sprinkle extra cumin , chilli and tumeric on mine .

sunshine

Lovely morning afternoon in My corner of Cheshire. Almost warm. Would rather be in Darlington!

Galen Sat 20-Apr-13 12:31:09

Chilly but occasional sun.have the washing on the line! First time this year. I've also found I've only half my number of clothes pegs? Where have the rest gone?

soop Sat 20-Apr-13 12:53:40

A bright, sunny, breexy afternoon in bonnie Kintyre.

Nonu...lucky you. Our nearest M&S for the curries we enjoy, is some 100 or so miles away.

Galen I ask the same question regarding missing odd socks. hmm

Nonu Sat 20-Apr-13 13:02:57

get the point Soop , dare i ask the burning question ? x

Nonu Sat 20-Apr-13 13:04:17

Galen , to clothes peg heaven in the sky ?

smile

Galen Sat 20-Apr-13 13:10:00

hmm

annodomini Sat 20-Apr-13 13:28:54

Terry Pratchett had a theory about missing socks: that there is a place somewhere in outer space where they all congregate and wait for their partners to join them.

Galen Sat 20-Apr-13 13:37:01

My pegs are obviously with enemy trying to get them paired. A kind of dating agency?

Galen Sat 20-Apr-13 13:38:42

Where did enemy come from. I typed with them.
I think my iPad has been communicating with jingles kindle fire!

soop Sat 20-Apr-13 14:43:17

Nonu Are you referring to the type of curry we favour? If so, Mr soop's is Tikka and mine is Rogan Josh.

If it's a question re the house hunters...the agent hasn't heard from them since he took them to see an alternative property in Tarbert. Early days...smile

Nonu Sat 20-Apr-13 14:48:09

Soop , that is exactly what we are having , great minds , etc.

Idid actually mean your house , I perhaps thought afterwards it was a little insensitive , as you would have told us . As you say it is early days , no news is good news.

Still keeping everything crossed for you.

sunshine here still

soop Sat 20-Apr-13 16:31:21

Thanks Nonu...I promise that you lot will be the first to hear good news re the house sale. I shall probably need to offload frustrations, too.
When in an M&S food hall, we also treat ourselves to a creamy pud. On Wednesday, I've yet another hospital appointment in Glasgow. A trip to M&S for curry and creamy puds for our supper is on the agenda. grin

annodomini Sat 20-Apr-13 17:12:47

When M&S opened in an out-of-town site which just happened to be on my route home from work, I gained a ridiculous amount of weight by scoffing their sticky toffee and lemon sponge puddings. Then I retired and decided that my pension wouldn't stretch to such luxuries - well, not every day.

Nonu Sat 20-Apr-13 17:31:45

Soop fell free to offload the frustrations , ^ BUT ^ there may NOT be any .

Hope all goes well in Glasgow , It it just a routine checkup [not being nosy] ? Does it take you long to get there ?

I will be away from Thursday to Bournville for DD s 40th birthday bash and then , wait for it ,

We are minding the children as it is their 10th Wedding anniversary and they are giving themselves their usual little break .

It would be wonderful , to hear that the sale is going ahead on my return .

sunshine still some about , in fact quite a lot .
