Happy Birthday to all at GNHQ and a Happy Birthday to all us Gransnetters we have made a host of new virtual and realife friends over the past two years and we are all richer for finding those friends.
Gorki I have been a member since the beginning and found out about GN from an article I read in a magazine and from Mumsnet.

Happy Birthday Gransnet : have enjoyed your forums even those contributors that drive me crazy, also enjoy some of the prizes I've won .

I missed out on the first few months, then I heard about Mumsnet and had a look and saw a reference to Gransnet. I haven't bothered with Mumsnet at all as there are just too many posts each day. What is very good for me is the fact that I can access GN from anywhere in the world, with my trusty laptop.

Happy Birthday Gransnet! Thankyou to everyone at GNHQ and thankyou to all the lovely friends I've found online. I'm not very computer literate and wandered into Gransnet by very happy accident in January this year. I think i was trying to find something on philosophy.

I have been here since the start, read an article in a newspaper and thought I would just take a look. I had no idea it would become so addictive but as a result I have met some lovely ladies who have enhanced my life

Thank you GN, I have found some very friendly people that are a mine of information and a much-needed sense of support. I can come here at any time and can feel welcome x

I've also been here from the start and remember that when I registered I was feeling quite nervous about joining an online forum. It turned out to be a very good decision!

Happy 2nd Birthday Gransnet. I joined a month after Gransnet started after reading about it in the Guardian.

I joined via the Oldie magazine and there was a definite sense of being persona non grata - not me personally, but the Oldie for having been given its own forum within Gransnet.
