Soop has texted me that her computer is out of order and asked me to let people know. Rory is unwell, but otherwise all is "hunky dory".

Say thank you to Soop for letting us know about her enforced absence. We do worry if she disappears for a day or two - it is as if the sun had gone behind a cloud. 
It seems the computer has died. Soop is suffering gransnet withdrawal symptoms! She is grateful for the messages of support
She didn't mention Rory in the second text, so I'm assuming he's not too poorly on the basis of no news being good news.
Rory has rallied! Phew! And a laptop has been ordered.

Because soop is always kind, cheerful, helpful and likes to laugh, and I'd like to think that all grans could be like that.
