The Bar will be open shortly.....Staff required...

All welcome....and YES.....iou's sill accepted.....to be settled at the end of the month.... grin

Ana Sat 22-Jun-13 23:03:22

I blame that glamma - she keeps making nibbles for the bar and Pete eats them then disappears off somewhere...

Ana Sat 22-Jun-13 23:01:34

Perhaps he's hoping for a 'Barman of the Year' award elsewhere? The Moonlighters' Arms, perhaps? hmm

Ella46 Sat 22-Jun-13 22:57:32

Pete You keep disappearing, are you keeping busy? wink
You do seem to be neglecting the bar lately grin

Pete Sat 22-Jun-13 22:51:21

I reckon 'Barman of the year' award is not beyond me!! grin

Goose Sat 22-Jun-13 18:46:03

Pete Your last comment made me roll up with laughter and after being so depressed, to laugh out loud is worth flowers wine [cupcakes] with a lot of sunshine thrown in for good measure...(let the surreal banter resumegrin

Pete Sat 22-Jun-13 16:55:47

Flowers!!.....never had flowers before!!.....They're not from the beer garden are they?? shock

Goose Sat 22-Jun-13 11:29:25

grinflowers Pete

Pete Sat 22-Jun-13 10:07:34

So the donkey was called nellie confused

Ella46 Sat 22-Jun-13 08:37:28

I really miss nellie wink

Goose Fri 21-Jun-13 23:21:14

Oops, sorry, got it wrong, it's Beat Your Neighbours Out of their Drawers. If not, then how about Happy Families? Donkey? (the last one was spotted running back to Margate)

Ana Fri 21-Jun-13 22:52:33

'Beat your Neighbours'!?? Sounds a bit too violent for me...
Pete, this place is going downhill - can't you sort this lot out? You'll never acquire a better class of punter if all you can offer is cribbage and battery! hmm

Goose Fri 21-Jun-13 22:40:20

I now have cocktail sticks, so...'Crib anyone'? glammanana the flights on your set of darts look suspiciously like bantam feathers to me. How about a nice game of Beat Your Neighbours of of Doors?

Pete Fri 21-Jun-13 21:36:38

Just as well....'cos there's no matches left...(until next season)....everything else is ready for you....careful with the umbrella.....don't want it stuck up yer nose grin

Goose Fri 21-Jun-13 21:14:44

Evenin' Pete a box of matches and a triple larger Port, lime and soda cocktail, with one of those pretty little paper umbrella's and 20 glace cherries on cocktail sticks - on second thoughts, forget the matchesgrin

glammanana Thu 20-Jun-13 23:28:58

Have we got any dominoes behind the bar,I'm quite safe with them it's the darts that tend to be a slight problem, but the more Brandy I drink the nearer the bulls-eye they go,well I think it's the bulls-eye it could be mr g's shiny bald head.confused

Pete Thu 20-Jun-13 21:27:15

Ana ....maybe later wink

Goose.... the matchsticks are available behind the bar...deposit required..... grin

Goose Thu 20-Jun-13 21:08:49

who's nicked me crib matchsticks?

Ana Thu 20-Jun-13 20:33:56

I'd rather have a 'larger' I think, Pete! wink

Pete Thu 20-Jun-13 20:26:42

or even lager n lime!!

Pete Thu 20-Jun-13 20:25:23

Goose...the crib boards are in the games room...where you threw them the last time you were beaten smile
Don't disturb laidback as she has become so laidback....that she has nodded off on the hammock!

The cocktails tonight are.....Larger and lime...or anything with 'soda' grin

laidback Thu 20-Jun-13 01:55:25

Ahhh....thanks Pete..a free hammock! I'll just have a lil sway in the breeze, Is that a cocktail? One of those pleeeze!

Goose Thu 20-Jun-13 00:18:16

Thems weren't bleedin' tree uggers Pete, thems were them funny caterpillary things what makes cobwebs on trees. Where's that bloody cribbage board gorn?

Pete Wed 19-Jun-13 00:26:39

Just chased off the 'tree huggers' and 'Llama lovers'.......I think goose invited them.....mad as a box of frogs ....all of them.... grin
Thanks for the snacks.....I've left the Brandy by the fridge....oh...I see that you've found it!! smile

glammanana Tue 18-Jun-13 23:52:36

Hi all, well everything now back in order no disasters with the spelling to-night, I think not grin all the food order is done and dusted so you hungry lot can have some snacks whilst you have a few glasses of the amber nectar,I can't hear a lot going on in the bar but the beer garden is full with what looks like ramblers, they have got on those back pac thingy's and the most unfemine boots and big thick socks, why are they all drinking TEA ??? must have a word with the boss about this people could get the wrong impression of the place and think it was a sedate peaceful stopping off place.grin

Pete Tue 18-Jun-13 19:26:39

Take no notice glamma......you do what you want with your 'facultities'......
grin
