I have been worried sick about these gels alone in this bar , any Tom , Dick or Harry could would wander in and do who knows what .

You then show up at a very unearthly hour , I mean it is 9.30, what gives, and offer BEER , come on . i might have to move to the place across the road , and I would take some of them with me , they do enjoy a good time .

I knew somebody who was always straight off to the toilet when we went in to a pub and we thought he was never buying drinks.
When we spoke about it we found he was giving the money for a round of drinks to somebody else as he was diabetic.
He was not going to the bar to buy drinks but he was paying his way.
