There is no chance of me leaving anything worth slurping I'm affraid Ella I am very partial to my Carlos 1 and have been known to take the bottle home with me,just check with my pal Juan he used to keep me supplied from the local cash & carry.

Pete Fri 05-Jul-13 10:45:29

Ella.....I'm really touched by your concern for glamma....maybe you could assist with the cleaning once in a while to help her out? You could have what ever Brandy glam leaves.....usually not a lot! smile

Pete Fri 05-Jul-13 10:38:25

I saw a Spanish waiter that 'liked' English sausages....but he was a right Juan... grin

Ella46 Fri 05-Jul-13 10:17:53

Thank goodness for that glamma, you'll be safe then, WON'T SHE PETE?

I love sausage rolls, especially warm.
smile

Oh dear ! good job I'm not a scouser isn't it but a Wirralonian through and through, will a Tranmere shirt do DS1 has a few of those,he wears it when he goes to the match just in case they are a man short and he is asked to play to make up the numbers ? grin
Sel stuffed olives may go down well on the bar along with a nice cool alliolli dip I am spot on with the "tapas" type menu I had personal & private lessons on making Tapas from a friendly Spaniard called Juan when I lived abroad his bar was near to mine and we became good friends he liked English sausages,we could have a Spanish theme night that would be cool.
By the way a new supply of sausage rolls and pasties are in the fridge and a giant bottle of brown sauce for the customers who are not to taken with the foreign theme.grin

Ella46 Fri 05-Jul-13 09:04:22

Clearly there is more to this than meets the eye! wink

Ella46 Fri 05-Jul-13 09:03:20

shock

Ana Fri 05-Jul-13 09:01:47

I don't think she actually pays for it, Ella...wink

Ella46 Fri 05-Jul-13 08:51:18

shock How can you treat glamma like this? She does most of the work and feeds you!! How ungrateful Pete

Anyway, think of the mark-up on all the brandy she puts away wink

Pete Thu 04-Jul-13 23:55:41

moon Sel

NO.....that shirt cannot be overlooked......

I've a tin of pineapple chunks that Lil left...so no problem..... grin

Sel Thu 04-Jul-13 23:50:02

Beggars and choosers comes to mind Pete I don't want to upset glamma - she is your main supplier and I'm sure you can overlook that shirt if it comes to food. I'll cube up some cheese, nothing organic, Cathedral City perhaps, just to be on the safe side...hold off on the pineapple for now.

moon to you smile

Pete Thu 04-Jul-13 23:43:06

...my swizzle stick is in fine fettle.....thank you....

Pete Thu 04-Jul-13 23:40:59

.......oh and amateur nibbles would be worth a try.....cheese 'n pineapple on a stick would do for me!

Sel Thu 04-Jul-13 23:36:31

Pete some would say 'nonsense', I'd say 'standards' - I judge a man by his olives - well, a barman that is grin I trust you have a swizzle stick - hallmarked?

Pete Thu 04-Jul-13 23:30:21

Sel.....you're welcome.......is it really worth the olive nonsense....smile

Pete Thu 04-Jul-13 23:27:45

Ana.........even the Banter Bar has standards .

Glam is welcome anytime....but without that shirt.....could be interesting.... grin

Sel Thu 04-Jul-13 23:23:52

scousers Pete? is that Ana? grin Yup, I'm sure you can rise to a vodka martini, with an olive..never asked for a large cocktail Pete but, what the hell, you're offering

Pete Thu 04-Jul-13 23:15:33

.....as much as I like...and enjoy...nibbles......I feel a ban on scousers is called for.......Large one Sel ? grin

Sel Thu 04-Jul-13 23:00:30

Hmmm Ana there's an answer to that smile However I think glamma is a professional and anything I could offer, nibble wise, would be very amateur - cube of cheddar, pineapple cube, nuts - that sort of thing. I bet she'll be moving into sushi and antipasti very soon. Pete will be packing 'em in grin

Ana Thu 04-Jul-13 22:41:57

glamma, you'll never get barred - where else would Pete get his nibbles? wink

glammanana Thu 04-Jul-13 22:34:52

Pete I thought I was being helpful offering the LFC pillow's how is a girl to know all the stuff about differant football clubs one ball looks the same to me I thought they wore differant colours because their other kit was in the wash !!!
Are we open for suggestions for the trip or are we all going blindfolded until we get there ?
Very quiet in here to-night have I upset anyone (opens coat to display LFC shirt) thinking I'd better have a large Brandy and make tracks before I get barred.grin

Pete Thu 04-Jul-13 16:40:44

Glamma ...in answer to your question about the cushions..........YES....it would upset most people!! In fact ...don't even think about it.. grin

Tennis after party sounds OK....nibbles and such like.....very welcome...ella has her own cushions and she maybe tired after the floor exercises...between sets....but I'm sure your nibbles will go down a treat.

Your name is down for the Bobhat trip.....it is a "Mystery Trip" but it won't be going to New Brighton....... wink

glammanana Wed 03-Jul-13 23:25:26

I've got 2 spare cushions shall I bring them along on Friday ? they both have LFC covers on them will that upset anyone ?
Can't be doing with all this tennis stuff bit boring any chance of an after Tennis party and I'll make some foodie stuff and nibbles and I'll ask my new mate Michael if he and his 4 pals want to play for us,oh and put my name down for the Bobhat outing I'll knit us some hats in GN colours I'll do one size fits all.grin
moon zzzzz's
