It's rained overnight here, so that will save me having to water the garden.

PRINTMISS Mon 20-May-13 07:58:01

Grey and damp here, rain overnight, which means I might be able to bowl a little better this morning - the all weather green we have works well when it is wet. Enjoy your day, everyone.

Good morning - nice and sunny here in South Wales. Yesterday was a lovely warm day and we were able to sit out for a while. Trees I can see from the window are lush with their greenery and yesterday evening a blackbird was singing his heart out sitting on the top of a tree opposite the house - makes you feel good. sunshine

Dull morning here in north of the country, its going to rain I think. Counting the days until my holiday. 5 days to go.

A pleasant, calm day in bonnie Kintyre. The air is soft and briny. The islands look mysterious and there is barely a ripple on the sea.

Ella46 Mon 20-May-13 11:21:33

Oh soop, I so wish I was there smile

soop Mon 20-May-13 11:44:37

smile Ella If ever you're in Kintyre, please call in.

Back to grey skies and a chilly wind in poor old Cheshire sad.

soop Mon 20-May-13 12:06:03

Have uploaded a nice pic of Mr soop with Rory [you know who] lolling on his lap. grin

Stansgran Mon 20-May-13 12:31:30

Grey skies and too much to do so I'm opting out with a cup of tea for ten minutes.

annodomini Mon 20-May-13 12:34:36

Lovely picture, soop. You wouldn't think Rory had ever been a feral cat! Mr Soop looks pretty contented too. smile

Bags Mon 20-May-13 12:58:05

Lovely picture, soop. Glorious day here: sunshine, soft breeze, 18°. Perfect.

Gagagran Mon 20-May-13 13:23:07

Not sure who's the most photogenic soopbetween the wee man, the Black Prince or Mr soop! (The scenery's not bad either) sunshine

Good afternoon everyone, It is raining here and only 19 degrees, last year's temperature on the 17th May was a freak 37 degrees ! (I can't find the degreee sign on my keyboard)
What part of Portugal are you coming to Thistledoo? The weather is supposed get better again from Thursday.

Mamie Mon 20-May-13 13:34:28

Cold and non-stop rain here in Normandy. I think Miss Pentecost will get very wet on her float in the procession this afternoon. That is bank holidays for you, I suppose.

Galen Mon 20-May-13 13:42:38

Grey here. I've added a picture of me and DGD at the lake grounds yesterday.

Butty Mon 20-May-13 14:11:49

Same here Mamie. Very wet. Warm in the kitchen though - cooking for a friend's 'do' tomorrow. I hope it at least stops raining for her, even if the sun doesn't shine.

Butty Mon 20-May-13 14:13:29

Galen smile. Room for two!

Butty Mon 20-May-13 14:14:52

soop They both look thoroughly content! smile

grannyactivist Mon 20-May-13 14:38:01

Lovely photo's Galen. smile
The temperature outside is warmer than in my house which is COLD!! I'm fed up of having to still light the log burner every night. Last year may have been wet, but at least it was warm. [grumble] [grumble]

Ella46 Mon 20-May-13 14:43:57

Ella46 Mon 20-May-13 14:44:38

Alternately sunny and dull here in Boston, 16 degrees.
Lovely photo of the two men in your life Soop!
Galen, nice pic, wish it would enlarge.

soop Mon 20-May-13 16:32:14

I like your pic, Galen smile

Just a snippet of info' for Rory fans. A few days ago, he entered Mr soop's wardrobe [door left open]...Mr soop persuaded him to leave. Yesterday morning, we were enjoying a cup of tea in bed, when Rory wandered into the bedroom. He headed for the wardrobe, and pushed against it. The door remained closed. He prodded underneath with a paw. It still didn't budge. He lay on the floor, full length and peered under the lip of the door. We thought that he would somehow find a way of gaining entry. He didn't. But he had a jolly good try. Very amusing. grin
