Camis aren't the same as vests. Camis have thin spaghetti straps, whereas a vest is at least an inch wide where it sits on the shoulder

After my shower I wander round wrapped in a towel for ages while I apply moisturiser to my legs and let it sink in, cleanse and moisturise face, blowdry hair, make the bed, tidy up last night's clothes and then sort out what I'm going to wear. Then it's pants, bra, trousers, top.

I, too, hate socks and only put them on when I'm about to go out and take them off again as soon as possible.

Jane mine DO have thinner straps and they are described as camisoles but apart from the style of the straps they perform exactly the same function of keeping the midriff warm that vests do.

OMG I shall now have to post a picture of me in my underwear to prove its a camisole and not a woolly vest. I don't want to be known on Gransnet as a low cred vest wearer. in grans!

You should see my lovely fleecy liberty bodice complete with the rubber buttons. (That goes on before the camisole) but I hadn't wanted to tell any one about that.

The rubber buttons hold up my lisle stockings!

I always dry my hair before getting dressed and have all garments sorted especially in the cold weather. Although it has been cool again I have continued wearing my flip-flops which I got out on the couple of sunny days we had. Strangely my feet have not felt cold.

Pants, bra, t-shirt, socks.

Vegas do you have cold floors? I remembered that when I had a cold bathroom and used to get dressed in there so as not to disturb my OH I used to put my socks on first to keep my feet warm.

Pants, bra, socks, jeans then top.

Summer = camisole
Winter = vest

I have a shower at night, not in the morning. I do not have carpets so I would not like to slip on the floors if I put socks on and no slippers afterwards. I prefer to put on socks only if I am going out.

Forgot to put my socks on first this morning - it was pants as usual...

I think I've worn socks 24/7 ever since the cold weather kicked in last autumn; just change them to a fresh pair before I go to work; same with my vest . Along with wearing a hat a lot of the time. Am turning into a real bag lady these days .

Bra, pants, trousers, top and socks only after I have decided what I am doing for the rest of the day. Sometimes I don't wear socks because the house is cosy warm/.

Sloggis, bra, top, jeans...and only ever when my feet feel cold, socks.

I am amazed that this thread has run so well!!! Also feel I may not be alone in covering up the bits I don't like first (the all-over bath towel is a good alternative, but can come undone if not carefully tucked in) Not many, if any, do bra first though?

Bra pants/pants bra it varies from day to day, but I do perform a weird wiggle as I 'settle into' them! .... anyone else?

I don`t shower, I have a bath, does that count for this thread? If so, then it`s bra first, then knickers, waist slip, skirt, top. Last is/are slippers or sandals.

Well vegas socks First this morning but the Top half was a Bit chilly but will give it another try tomorrow to see how I feel

First thing off though is the bra, can't stand leaving it on any longer than necessary.

Bra first because I am quite big in that region and it helps leave room to bend over

Yes, I wear glasses and they have to go on last because I can't get top over head otherwise.

Well Glass my best and oldest friend has just admitted she has never known I put my socks on first! This thread is turning out to be a real eye opener. Apparently she is a bra on first girl.
