As folk may know I have two grandchildren in Sydney. The six year old told me she was doing a sponsored spelling for school equipement.
I said I would sponsor her so much for each word and was quite generous as I thought she was just doing 20 words. Ha ha
Then her 8 year old brother said he was also doing that.
GD was doing 50 and GS 75. Oh my goodness.
This morning my DD texted to ask if we could facetime as the children had something to tell me. So I set up the machine, but their wi fi was no good so DD used house phone (or land line as GC call it) GD had no idea how to use it as she has always used an iPhone and couldn't understand why she could not see me and her GF.
I thought that was so funny and so telling of this generation.
The grandchildren got all their words correct!!
Yes I am very proud of them as the words were not easy.
