I'm on Pick of the Week?

Phoenix, I managed to get Pick of the Week on iplayer on my laptap here in Egypt. I was very impressed by your calmness when being interviewed and I thought your voice was clear and pleasant.
I was very moved by your story and I can easily understand why you want to hear Jack's voice. I hope somebody heard and can help you.

Listened to you, without knowing it was you, while driving home from Gatwick after three wonderful weeks of holiday. You triggered a huge 'counting my blessings' moment, and a great deal of admiration for you. Enjoy the sunshine today.

PS I still think that there are a couple of sentences where I did the Australian thing, also I do seem to sound very "nasal" but I did have a pretty bad cold.

Mr P and I have talked about Jack a lot this afternoon, many reminiscences about funny things, including the 3 of us playing cricket when Jack had a broken arm. He felt that the plaster cast was hindering him, so just sort of slipped it off while playing, then calmly put it back on again!

I have a CD of my father being interviewed by my cousin's son for a Milennium Archive project which I treasure and also a cassette of DD2 "interviewing" her other Grandpa about 28 years ago. Very precious.
