I see that the government is likely to spend tax payers money building 12 new prisons.
To save money why not dump prisoners on a deserted island and just leave them.

So, let me get this right.......a prisoner who has burgled a house and stolen a DVD player get 3 months in prison, on a deserted sland, and if he has no money, he can be left to die. Yep, that should work! What about a rich serial murderer? Is he ok ordering champagne and caviar to satisfy his appetite?
