Lovely day here as well, 23 degrees. Wish I could ride a bike!

It's been a grey day here in Northumberland and I think it might be raining now. I girded my loins, though, braved going out on my bike with DH this morning, and managed to do nine miles - it was very windy which is usually a sign for me to stay indoors, so am feeling rather pleased with myself. And it was the first time I have been on the roads as opposed to cycle tracks, so win win.

A bit overcast here, Sook. Occasional sunny intervals. This morning I opened the curtains and thought there was something missing. Oh yes, there was my neighbour's tree-surgeon son, up a tree, sawing off branches as requested. It all looks rather bare, but they will revive and in a couple of years will be threatening my other neighbours' TV aerial again!

Hello all. Sun trying to break through here in Manc, and pleasantly warm and breezy. The washing is blowing on the line and I am off to do another hour's battle with the weeds.

Good morning everyone - lovely morning here, very warm. No doubt the beach will be busy today, but we are not going anywhere - Grand Prix on at lunch time, not my sport but my husband enjoys it. Might pop up to bowls club after that, there is a club comp. today, glad I am not playing it gets really hot there. Enjoy your day.
