It has been a lovely day here, about 24C, and I had a very long walk through forests and by a tumbling river. I am always finding new paths in the mountains.

Grey and unpromising here in Manc. Sorry to hear about your uncomfortable cast PRINTMISS - maybe if you are not due for a plaster check you should get someone to look at it. Out for lunch with a friend later on, and meanwhile a much-needed catch up on domestic chores.

Morning all! grey morning here with a bit of a breeze...

I have a 'bits and pieces' day ahead..getting paperwork ready for WI meeting tonight (Bollywood dance teacher coming), planning menu for Sunday when we have a dozen or so friends coming over, preparation for a work day on Thursday....I would like to go to the garden centre too if I get the other chores done... am allowing myself 20 mins social networking as i have my breakfast!

High cloud and hazy sunshine in Norfolk. Am wondering what to do with myself as DH is off volunteering. Tuesday has been 'Taking Mother Out' day for several years and now I'm an orphan and it feels really weird. Mustn't waste the day - perhaps a little light weeding.

(Thank you Printmiss for pointing out the statin/caffeine thing. It may explain DH's sleep probs. Perhaps he should read the leaflet! I hope your new cast settles soon - horrible things in warm weather)

Rain here. DH remarked last night that he had been hoping for a warm July but since the Met Office have forecast a warm July he's less hopeful about it than he was.

Feeling very stiff after sitting for 2.5 hours in the Victoria Hall, Hanley last night for dgd's prize giving ceremony.
Amazing students though, I was 'filling up' quite a lot

Good morning - hope things gets better today Printmiss. Bit cloudy but sun is there too - 19deg at 8am. - got to 29 yesterday. Off to wash curtains today. Hope you have a happy day whatever you do.

Small cast on wrist not as bulky as large one (obviously), but very tight, and a bit uncomfortable hope it gets more settled. I was taking paracetomol+ because my back is very painful - bruised coccyx - and discovered these were making me feel really ill and causing bad sleep problems they contain caffeine which I have never had a problem with before, but I should also have read and understood the information about taking statins which we know do not mix with caffeine - my husband found this with his medication. A big addition to 'Good morning' sorry about that
