You will see links to her other appearances - she thinks women are jealous of her success, when they probably just don't like her!

I suppose that's marginally better than the curtains ! grin

It is a dried up old sock which has been used for the clean up of male ejaculate. I didn't know either - this comes courtesy of Urban Dictionary.

How robust! But what is a wankbadger? Neither I nor DH have ever heard it before. Sheltered lives!

soop you're such a lady! grin Take a look at this Mumsnet thread! grin

This Morning wheel her out every now and again to wind people up. She speaks on a different subject each time.

She is, in my opinion, a first rate twit. I'm far too lady-like to use the correct spelling. hmm

j08 Fri 05-Jul-13 10:32:24

That is so funny! How can we let her know? grin

Ella46 Fri 05-Jul-13 10:24:44

Sorry if that apostrophe is in the wrong place #gettingparanoid

Ironically, 'Poppy' is the name of one of this 'odious woman's' children.
She obviously hadn't read this old article grin

When my DS1 started school, there were, I think, five Jasons in his class. There was a TV show five years previosly featuring a character so named. I didn't have a TV at the time my son was born. grin

It's one of my favourite flowers too. Along with Lily, Rose and Iris.

MiceElf Fri 05-Jul-13 10:01:36

I always thought Poppy was posh.

I see my niece-in-law is on that list (Charlene - spawn of the devil), as is her delightful toddler daughter, Poppy. An accomplished artist, musician and midwife, with a good degree, whose parents just happened to like her name.

j08 Fri 05-Jul-13 09:08:01

Mind you, children choose their own friends. And there's sod-all you can do about it. grin

j08 Fri 05-Jul-13 09:07:27

this is interesting grin

j08 Fri 05-Jul-13 09:03:12

grin

I think she was quite brave, and, to a certain extent, I can see where she's coming from!

Would never really judge a kid by his/her name though.

Greatnan Fri 05-Jul-13 08:26:42

Just like Samantha Brick, Sally Bercow and Nadine Dorries. Not to mention Anne Widdecombe, who sold her dignity for a mess of potage!

By now I think everyone knows that The Apprentice is very staged and a bit of a joke. Whilst I'm sure the contestants are primed to come out with some of the bilge that they utter, I do think there are those who take part simply to use it as a staging post to raise their profile in the hope of getting some sort job in the media. Katie Hopkins views are extreme and contentious and she does like to pontificate in a lofty manner to anyone who doesn't meet her exacting standards. I have also heard her claim that she finds looking after her children a tedious chore that gets in the way of her being a successful business woman, hence she employs people to do that menial task. I wish someone would ask her why she bothered having three children, which I thinks is quite a lot for someone who clearly thinks motherhood is beneath them.

She's becoming one of those characters we love to hate, like John McCrirrick. There must be a policy about bringing on 'Rent-a-Gob' types to bump up the ratings and revenue, because they certainly create lots of discussion and publicity.

marigold1 Fri 05-Jul-13 08:13:59

I agree vegasmags,.

Bags Fri 05-Jul-13 08:12:20

The saving grace is that you can spot (well, hear) people like that a mile off, so they're easy to avoid. There's nothing like such loud snobbery for showing one's own inferiority. What on earth is she afraid of?

bluebell Fri 05-Jul-13 08:07:08

But what a sad comment in our society that she is so often in radio/TV and does so well out of it

vegasmags Fri 05-Jul-13 07:49:30

I remember her from the Apprentice. She was a loud mouthed antediluvian airhead then, so nothing's changed.

Bags Fri 05-Jul-13 07:43:46

Before I got to India.

If she's taking the piss (she should be!) she's a bloody good actor.

Bags Fri 05-Jul-13 07:42:10

I turned her off before I got that far! What a twerp.
