Yet another hot day here in Brackley.

Good morning from Conwy. Not a breath of air here, tide so far out you would not realise the sea was there at all, clear, still, hot day. Looking forward to the Ashes!

PRINTMISS Wed 10-Jul-13 08:08:21

Lovely morning here in the south also, but we do have a light breeze, which is only stirring the warm air. I'm looking forward to the Ashes alsoBackagain but we can only be catch an hour or the highlights at seven o'clock.

Backagain Wed 10-Jul-13 08:11:45

I shall be glued to it for the next five days, Printmiss - have siege supplies in grin

PRINTMISS Wed 10-Jul-13 08:13:35

I envy youBags

Good morning everyone- hot here again too- off out to do a small amount of shopping with a friend - going early in the hope of avoiding too much heat. Lovely to see the sun but it gets a bit tiring trying to work. We had a fan going all night which did improve things a bit. Enjoy the warmth

PRINTMISS Wed 10-Jul-13 08:46:22

Sorry Bags that should have been Backagain I was envying - you probably hate cricket Bags

Lovely morning - somewhat dreading an afternoon walk we've arranged for the NWR group. Hip is sore this morning - inexplicably.

Beautiful morning here in Gloucestershire ( staying with DD1) . Just off for a dip in the outdoor pool in Cirencester with the 2 gs's.

Oldgreymare Wed 10-Jul-13 09:30:11

Gally, enjoy your day.
Coming your way, Three Choirs Vineyard for tour and tasting and B&B. (have also booked dinner). Planning to come home via Hidcote..... loving this weather.
Morning all.... off to pack an overnight bag and a posh frock!

Gally Wed 10-Jul-13 09:33:46

Sounds good OGM wine! Sadly I am returning to the even more northern hemisphere tomorrow where no doubt the temperature will dip drastically and the sun disappear from view........

Bags Wed 10-Jul-13 09:49:15

I don't watch any sport, printmiss, Not because I don't like it but because I don't have a telly. Plus whenever there is good, or even slightly less than bad weather here, I've work to do outside.

Enjoy the cricket, backagain smile

Warm again here but cloudy. Pleasantly summery.

Good morning from East Sussex. Yesterday had second stage of root canal filling and am in a lot of pain today. Paracetamol and nurofen combined making me very spaced out but in less pain.
Have to do deep clean today as elder sister is coming tomorrow. This involves amoungst the usual furniture moving having to pull our very large carpet, not fitted, back into place. I don't know how it manages to move because it weighs a ton.
Roll on Friday!

Nelliemoser Wed 10-Jul-13 10:09:54

Flipping heck! Its hot. I should not complain after the last couple of years but I can't do anything this weather. 22degC in the shade out front. The patio is about 33 with no shade.

Gagagran Wed 10-Jul-13 10:25:13

Need to find my sun hat (not needed much in recent years) as this afternoon we are going to watch DGD1 represent her school in the 200m and relay in her inter-school sports. Her parents can't make it so we are going to cheer!

It is another glorious day here on the south coast. How distant the cold and frost of winter seems now. It's so good to feel the sun on ones bones. sunshine

soop Wed 10-Jul-13 11:20:15

Sea mist here in bonnie Kintyre. Blazing sunshine just along the road...
Lots to do in readiness for the house viewing tomorrow afternoon. All systems go! Even if the viewer doesn't decide to purchase our home, we'll not be unduly perturbed. If we can possibly stay here for a few more years, then that's what we'll do. The cost of house building has gone through the roof...almost £2000 per square whatever [according to John] shock

glassortwo Wed 10-Jul-13 11:24:37

Its very chilly here in the North East today in fact I am thinking of putting on my jeans, socks and walking boots as my feet are freezing. Only 12 here at the moment after high 20s yesterday, its a shock to my system.

glassortwo Wed 10-Jul-13 11:25:05

soop good luck with the viewing sunshine

soop Wed 10-Jul-13 11:26:18

Bags Wed 10-Jul-13 12:02:47

Enjoy that, gaga smile. My eyes always get watery at these things. Can't understand it! wink

Bags Wed 10-Jul-13 12:03:47

Don't work too hard, soop flowers

Talking of work... better get a move on.

Gagagran Wed 10-Jul-13 12:36:06

Thanks Bags - me too. I swell with pride and love for my lovelies when they are performing! I can pretend it's hayfever if I get too watery!

Gagagran Wed 10-Jul-13 12:38:31

Still haven't found the sun hat so will have to find a tree!

Butty Wed 10-Jul-13 13:15:30

Fingers crossed, soop.
