Good morning from a very grey North East Coast. Very muggy this morning and we have had a lot of rain overnight. Have a good day everyone.

Still no rain in this bit of East Sussex. Currently crocheting a blanket that will take months. For light relief knitting a cardigan with the back pattern on four needles. Retirement is hell.
Terrible news on TV about train crash in Spain. Thoughts and prayers for all involved.

Good morning everyone, it is cool and raining here which will delight my Southern Californian DGD who arrived yesterday, as she just loves the rain!!

It has rained overnight and doesn't look too promising now. However, I have, optimistically, put the washing out. If it gets wet again, so be it!

Good morning everyone - bright and sunny here in SW France. We are so glad we have plenty of trees to give some shade. - the sun is getting very tiring now - forecast 36 today. DH spending hours watering the veggie plot - it is great for drying the washing though and I have plenty at the moment. now all the visitors have gone - full ironing basket on the horizon again!

Welcome relief as far as I'm concerned, the heat has been too much for me, and maybe I'll get some vacuuming done .......at last!

Dull, grey and breezy here this morning. As Ella says it is a welcome relief. I can now have a bit of a lie in as I don't have to get up at crack of dawn to walk the hounds.

Thanks. I'm very tired, head ache, feel nauseous, didn't sleep last night. Been taking it easy for a couple of hours and a tad more human now. Need to be fit and well as have the GDs (aged 2&3) staying overnight,

Take it easy with those "little uns" , they can be tiring , I know mine , even though they are older, wear us out .!!!! X
