Good Morning Everyone,
Looks like a mixed day of weather here in Brackley today.

Good morning, heavy short shower with thunder earlier on, overcast now. Had a lovely day ay Amberley Museum yesterday, my husband who is so much better now actually managed to do some printing, up to his elbows in printing ink and in his element! We are now off to a very small market with some adults with learning disabilities, they have their own stall and have made some biscuits to sell. Not going to make a fortune, but good publicity. I am shattered! Enjoy your days

Good morning, after a hot and sticky night, it is cool and breezy this morning. Rain is forecast for later on but judging by the grey heavy sky it won't be long.

Glad your husband is feeling better PRINTMISS I had ten minutes to spare yesterday so popped into our local museum to see an exhibition on shopping through the ages in our local area. We have had three large supermarket chains move into the area and now only have one greengrocer, and one fishmonger (he sells samphire grass grin) left in the town but plenty of high class butchers and bakers.

Looks like mixed weather here in North Devon too.

Good morning everyone. Very warm and sticky here on the North East coast. I think we are in for some rain later. Just having a sneeky scive and a cuppa at work! Hope you all have a lovely day. smile

Very hot here this morning - was awful yesterday afternoon so closed the shutters and caught up with some recorded TV? Looks as if today will be the same but we are forecast storms tonight so maybe it will clear the air.

GillieB Fri 02-Aug-13 09:58:23

Still lovely in the north east - the sun is shining, the sky is blue - and the wind is blowing well, so quite a pleasant day for most of us (I think DH will rue the wind when he is out on his bike, though). I am off to the dentist where I have to have a back tooth out later (it is wobbly). Wish me luck! DD is coming with me in case I can't drive and, if I am ok, I will take her out to lunch afterwards (just soda water for me).

Today is my 44th wedding anniversary. Where do the years go? hmm

Ana Fri 02-Aug-13 10:11:59

Congratulations Aka! (and Mr Aka, of course) smile

Brendawymms Fri 02-Aug-13 10:25:53

East Sussex is warm and cloudy. Yesterday the wind, although warm, was quite strong but that seems to have gone. We can see the English Channel from here and it looks quite stormy. I just love a good thunder storm. It gets into the South Downs and goes round and round.

Aka Fri 02-Aug-13 10:32:04

Thanks Ana

gillybob Fri 02-Aug-13 10:40:08

Thank you Gilly, Ella and Harrigran I've sent DH out to play golf with a trusted friend who'll make sure he gets home. Meanwhile I'm just out of a nice cool shower, creamed and dressed and about to sit out in the garden with Clare Balding on my Kindle.

gracesmum Fri 02-Aug-13 11:35:40

Sounds as good a way to spend a morning as I can think of - congratulations flowers (Ours was 43 a week ago - are you sure you were never a teacher as so many ex-teachers among my friends seem to have their 40-something wedding anniversary around this/last week as it was -then- the first weekend of the school hols!!)

Aka Fri 02-Aug-13 11:51:00

Thanks Nonu & Grace'smum.... I taught for 25 years then was conscripted into the LEA Advisory Service for 7 years, so spot on.
Hubby is going to attempt dinner tonight once I've been to M&S and bought their 'Eat in for £10' offer. Nothing too complicated. He'll convince himself he's done it all. This week's been a good week for him and I think the medication and the restricted diet I've had him on is really working smile

gracesmum Fri 02-Aug-13 11:59:16
