Soop my attendance on GN has been a bit hit and miss of late and I missed any reference to what happened to your poor face. I hope whatever it was gets better very soon.

Soop my 73rd tomorrow!! No plans here except DH going to order some windows with a friend for an extension they are building. I shall just take the day as it comes.

Tomorrow, I shall celebrate my 72nd birthday. I have something to do for my friend who lives nearby. Won't therefore be going out for a treat. Will therefore celebrate on Friday.

Can you guess what it is we'll be treating ourselves to? Bet Bags knows...

Spoling started early. The cat (who is tagged with 2 bells) brought him a nice baby greenfinch first thing.

Regarding birthday jobs for Dh's birthday treat, I thought I'd let him chose between touching up paintwork, clearing out the garage and tidying his study . Actually we will have a succession of visits from the children and grandchildren who live close enough and then his favourite meal and a nice bottle of wine!! Just in case you all thought I was a dragon!

Good Morning. Dull and overcast here in SWFrance. Yesterday was hot but not so extreme as previously. About 10-30 yesterday evening we had a huge thunderstorm. We sat out under the porch and watched it. The electricity tripped but we could put our hands on a wind up torch. Temp is only about 18 deg this morning - first time below 20 for weeks. Off to a hog roast this evening - as long as it stays dry!!

Gorgeous sunny and warm morning here on the North East coast. Hope you have a list of "jobs" for DH *Kittylester" there's no point in wasting a day off work now is there?

Misty start in the East Midlands but hopefully we should have a warm and sunny day later. Today DH is 68 and has taken the day off work - now, what can I find for him to do?
