Flashing

I haven't heard of that one Petra, but I was reading in the paper theother day where these people posed as passengers on a bus , got one the others to run into the bus then put in an insurance claim for "injuries"

Isn't it meant to be the crooks who are flashing people not people flashing crooks IYSWIM? I learnt not to do that when I drove for a living as it can lead to all sorts of misunderstandings.. so I just don't.

As regards flashing, I was always told not to do it as it could be misconstrued and cause an accident (!).

In America people flash their headlights to worn you of police speed traps or if they happen to see a police car parked.I have heard of a person getting detained for doing it.

Criminals flash at someone making them think they are giving way and then drive into them. Then claim lots of damages.
Where I come from they flash to let you know there are animals on the road.
