Well, I'm glad that's sorted out! I was beginning to feel a bit the same Soop but was too lazy to do anything about it! Happy to step intae yer kitchen for a week blether and a warm up - need it today here in Fife, or perhaps I should just face the inevitable and put on more clothes. As Jane says, get that Bags back into the fold too
jane I first tasted Cullen Skink in a very pleasant garden centre restaurant. It was HEARTY and left no room for the main course or, indeed, a pud. I shall tell Bags that we want her company. Bez keep an eye on things for me please. I really should be doing things about the hoos. Rory appears to be zonked. Cannot ask him to help with washing the dishes.
Just about to make pastry - people coming tonight and Bramley apples just coming off the tree - shall I make an extra one for here? - with or without cinnamon ?? Also got an apricot crumble to do but have the apricots cut and in the dish - think I may jus splash a tad of amaretto in there. Keep kettle boiling please.
Right then soop close your ears! I've returned the tickets for a fortnight's holiday in the Bahamas, now soop isn't going and everyone has been virtually reimbursed for the farewell whip round!
soop so glad you're staying. It wouldn't be the same without you
I thought pheromones were emitted by female moths to attract male moths. They're attraction like chemicals. I'm sure Bags will know? Where is that woman when you want her?
A lovely, warm and homely place on GN - that's just what we need! So pleased soop you have invited us in. Just logged on and unfortunately already had my and so no room for more, I'll just sit back and enjoy civilised company
Non-fattening scones and flapjack, I'm on my way. Don't want to sound greedy but will there be wine later? May I bring my knitting? It is something I do when I'm relaxed.
Looks as though your kitchen is filling up soop - does it expand to accommodate folk as they arrive? Delighted you are still with us and look forward to enjoying [tea] and scones and of course good company
