Rory is chillin'. He has a plug-in pheromone gadget to help him with his stress levels. The unfortunate incident in the forest [with whatever it was that attacked him] has left him with mental scars. Every so often, he goes into a "flat spin" and finishes up staring wide-eyed into space.

The coffee is fresh. The shortbread is Scottish. The kitchen is warm. All comers can kick of their shoes and relax. No need for chat. It's your presence that counts.

SO pleased you've had a change of heart soop - I felt very sad when I read your farewell post.

Can you reassure us that Bags has not gone for good? I know that you are good friends. I rely on Bags for sensible and logical posts and would really miss her if she has gone.

So....here I am again. Just checking that everyone is comfortable. I must have been off my head to consider leaving you lot. When I told Mr soop that I intended doing so, his mouth dropped and he asked me "are you unwell...?"

I wish to stress that no one caused me to be offended. There was no "falling out"...in fact, I've oodles of respect for GN. I've shared many ups and downs with members who have helped me enormously. Maybe I was beginning to feel that I had nothing to contribute. I'm not a clever clogs and neither do I seek out confrontation. At heart, I'm a soppy so and so. Perhaps I'm best suited to the relaxed approach. That's why I've opened the kitchen.

Nellie ...pheromones are apparently useful when a cat is stressed. I shall hunt for the blurb, so that I can tell you more.

Just came on a few minutes ago - this sounds a nice warm comfortable place - will be good on those cold winter days too. Great idea Soop long may it remain open and well stocked!!
