I used to work in A & E and you would be surprised some of the things people eat! ( and pass through the body without injury).

I had a child in school once who bit a small light bulb when the class were making electric circuits. Had to take him to A&E!

And some people eat light bulbs, so I've heard....
I remember reading a crime novel years ago where ground glass had been put into food.......and she died - of course!
