Good Morning, not been posting lately as things Dire and Grim here. I am sometimes lurking a bit , You Lot are keeping me going, thanks. Waiting for hospice respite place for DH. As soon as I'm free I'll come into Soop's kitchen so hope there is some cake left and the party is still going on.

Good morning, enjoy your visit Greatnan, and look forward to hearing from you again soon Sewsilver, it is good sometimes just to browse here, isn't it. I had a lovely day yesterday at Amberley Museum, not too many visitors, but enough to be able to chat to them and show of my demonstration skills (not a lot!) Exhausted when we arrived home, but happy. Looks like being a fine day here, so off out in the garden. Enjoy your days.

Lovely day in East Sussex. Just Facetimed my elder granddaughter on her sixth birthday. How time flies! Charity shop all day today and off on holiday tomorrow.

Good morning from Cheshire. It was sunny an hour ago but seems to have changed its mind.
I am off over the hills to spoil see my grandson.

Hi Sewsilver I know what a difficult time it has been for you. Your every minute must be taken up with making sure your OH is comfortable. I hope you are able to look after yourself, too.

Fine start in Durham but clouding up now. Does anyone else see Monday as washday still? They that wash on Monday have all the week to dry.....

Bathroom cleaning day for me Stansgran a quick wipe over every other day but a 5* clean on a Monday, that reminds me, I must get on.....

Lovely morning here, I have been swimming and now feel full of more energy than I have for a while. I will sit in the sun and finish the book I am reading for my Book Club. OGM my bathroom will have to wait although it could do with a 5* clean too !

Bit overcast here but the forecast is for a lovely week Gardening today - not really in the mood

Sewsilver do look after yourself as well as DH and I do hope the respite care turns up soon. Let us know! I bet if there's no cake left someone will manage to whip one up in no time. (((hugs)))

Bright clear blue sky here but a chill remains in the air after the clear night.

A lovely day for my fabulous granddaughter's 8th birthday! Celebrating by going out for the day with her mum, dad sister and stepbrother then coming here for (her request) chicken korma followed by chocolate cake! Better get cooking!

Sunny and warm still in Boston, but a bit breezy. Been into town minus coat, so it can`t be too bad.
