Grandmanorm There is nowhere better than being at home to make you feel better,you DH will come on leaps and bounds (sorry the pun) now he is coming home to you,so glad things are on the up for him and you are feeling better yourself.

I get emails re pm's - might be worth asking HQ as has already been suggested.

Better off at home out of the germ soup and the bosom of his family. They must think he's doing well if they are thinking of sending him home. Do make sure that you get any help you might need when he comes back. Hope all goes well.

Major surgery is almost day surgery nowadays. I also think that a couple of more days in hospital would help but there again, the longer he stays in, the more likely he is to catch an infection. He will be well looked after at home. Take care of yourself.
