Good morning to you all, cloudy, but promises to be brighter later. Off to play bowls, if I can get moving! Enjoy your days.

Gloomy grey here and I put on a dress! I do not often wear one but the promise of hot weather got me adventurous... might change it before I go out to work!

Good morning, despite the forecast it is a bit gloomy, it was the same yesterday but the afternoon (which we spent at Biddulph Grange) was glorious.

My granddaughter starts school today smile

Such a precious moment sook when they start school, isn't it, bless her little cotton socks.
Overcast but hopefully brightening here. My DGS and family left after lunch on Sunday, replaced by a young friend who is getting married next spring, and has sold his flat so temporarily homeless. Not last minute packing, but first minute packing today as off on hols tomorrow.

It is vegas she is a lively confident little girl so I am sure she will settle down really well.

Have a fabulous holiday sunshine

I hope she has a lovely first day, sook.

I'm off to Buxton and Ashford on the Water with my Canadian visitors today. Hope it stays fine sunshine

Whenim Eyam and their little plague museum is interesting. Particularly if it rains. A good tea shop in Eyam as well if I remember rightly.

God luck to anyone making a fresh start today. Especially children. My DiL starts her new job as assistant head of a big comp. She'll be great!

Ashford is such a pretty village - our writing group had lunch out at the Ashford Arms. Lovely!

Nelliemoser Tue 03-Sept-13 09:26:09

You could just spend hours on the bridge In Ashford watching the fish go by.

envy when, enjoy.

Waiting in the hairdressers but, outside, it's a beautiful day in downtown Loughborough sunshine

whenim64 Tue 03-Sept-13 09:29:59

I've spent many an hour leaning over that bridge. I suggested Eyam, but their eyes glazed over (oh well...) - they want to visit Buxton for souvenirs, then we'll go into Ashford for lunch.

Lovely sunny day in the north east. First day back at school today so it will be nice and quiet in the parks.

Started off sunny today, but clouded over at lunchtime, still warm though.
