Good morning! Misty here but a lovely day in prospect.

Enjoy Tamworth, Mick.

My two eldest DGDs have really exciting days ahead. The eldest starts school and the younger one is starting pre-school - wasn't that playschool in the oldendays confused

Good morning everyone, we have a lovely autumnal morning here, and a warm day forecast. Had a gentle evening out with our friends, but unfortunately she is feeling a little low at the moment, so will try to think of something to cheer her up. I am having a lazy day. Kittlester, you will no doubt hear lots about first days, and the new worlds opening for your grand-children.

Hot already here, we had 36 degrees yesterday.
Have just been watching an item on tattooing on BBC Breakfast and there was someone whose job title seemed to be Personal Branding Coach. What does that involve, do you think?

30 degrees here on Lesvos, but the hotel is air conditioned and there's a lovely breeze blowing. Just had one of many amazing breakfasts (the choice is bewildering) before setting off for a walk to the village. Lucky me. grin

My DGS started a new school today. First time he has had to catch the bus. He has to be on it at 7.36 am. He was nervous but excited and looked very smart. Will call him tonight to see how his day went.

A hot iron, Mamie? to permanently label us "laundry operatives"

Good morning all, it seems strangely quiet here this morning as all the children are back at school.
Yesterday, I saw lots of 'littlies' going home after a first morning, in their new uniforms, all very excitedly telling mummy what they'd been doing.
So sweet.

Dull, and cool weatherwise, showers to come I think.

This is one of the nicest times, as a retired teacher!

A quiet, sunny day here in Bideford, but think I'd better get some laundry done before the forecast rain arrives..

Top of the Morning to you. Out for a nice "Girly" lunch today at Le Bistro, lovely place. Plenty of laughs to be sure !
So will have to get on this morning , no time for G/N.
Enjoy your day . sunshine

Very quiet here too!

My daughter will be exhausted as she had to get up early yesterday to get my youngest grandson off to school, a day earlier than she thought - on top of dealing with new job AND a 2 hour driving lesson in the afternoon - so I haven't phoned her yet, she is probably asleep!

And I have just got rid of - a Playstation 1, an old TV with integral video player, and about 50 videos - none of which the charity shop would take!
................and a non-playing electric keyboard. Whee!

No prizes for guessing - i am trying to declutter.

Good morning everyone. Lovely to see you all seem to be having some lovely sun. Beautiful morning here too - we have been for DH to have a blood test and to make an app. With Dr for next week. Home now to get a few jobs done as we need to go and do some errands this afternoon. Enjoy your day.
