I knew that I'd fall foul of the double posting gremlin eventually. Oh well Good Afternoon to everyone.

Heard rain in the night and thought "Good I wont have to water the plants." Still raining at eight and it's Help! Panic ! So much to do as it is Saturday and we don't know where we put the umbrellas, rain jackets, or indeed anything a bit warmer to wear. It happens every year when the first serious rain comes! Poor tourists visiting the local market are clad in plastic ponchos. I hope the forecast is right and it gets better tomorrow.

Got up to quite dense Autumn mist - could not see to the edge of the garden - has now cleared. DGS plus one arriving this evening so have been cooking ready to be able to spend more time with them.
Kitty please post photo of dress especially if it is as you suspect - I just love the way they all adore these unsuitable things. Christmas parties at school would be interesting with flimsy dresses in a cold hall jigging about to pop music!

Dazzling blue sky with a few high clouds. Really beautiful autumn day. Supposed to be awful tomorrow.

Good morning from East Sussex. We are back from a train holiday in Germany. My husbands idea of unpacking is to empty his suitcase into the laundry bin!

Good morning all. A quiet and fair morning here in God's Own Country ie North Yorkshire. Going into town on my bike as soon as the shops open and then a day in the garden before battenning down the hatches for tomorrows promised storms.

Good morning all it looks as if it might be a nice day, hope so, washing doing, and it has rather mounted up, I have been quite lazy! Not doing a lot today, Club comp for bowls this pm, so a nice tea to look forward to afterward. Enjoy your visit to Brum Mick and good luck with the girly shopping kittylester.

Dull and overcast in North Leicestershire.

Enjoy Brum, Mick. Today, I'm taking DGD1 out for lunch in John Lewis ( her choice) and to buy her a 'beautiful dress' as her fifth birthday present. I suspect it will be pink or purple, very sparkly, frilly and totally unsuitable grin
