Wet and windy here today. Felt sorry for runners in GNR.
DS and GD arrived for lunch and stayed all afternoon, lovely to spend some time with the youngest without big sister spoiling the game.

Cold, wet and windy in Boston, but not as rough as I was expecting.

The rain has arrived here. I knew I should have started gardening earlier instead of listening to the Archers Omnibus. (Still, I do now have a nice clean kitchen)

We had a little sun, now it's gone...some drizzle.
Enough sun, though, to open two more enormous flowers of Datura (or whatever their new name is) in my greenhouse.
Five more to come yet, and a wonderful perfume.

I have to go out, and don't want to. Must get some cash to pay people tomorrow morning.
I'll get myself some comfort food while I'm at it!

Sunny here too in Norfolk. It was as still as still first thing, but now the wind is filling in. Off to do a bit of gardening before the bad stuff gets here. (I'd love to see West Side Story but DH hates it. He was so embarrassing when we saw the Sound of Music all those years ago I daren't risk it)

Riverwalk - we saw West Side Story a couple of weeks ago. It is fantastic - so good, in fact, that I have booked tickets to take all our daughters to see it when it comes to Birmingham. Enjoy.
