So is drowning fluffy kittens. I expect someone will disagree with me

I quite like eating Babybel but hate flaying them.

Anniebach Mon 16-Sept-13 09:44:56

Both are wrong but I think one would get a stiffer penalty for the latter

Nelliemoser Mon 16-Sept-13 09:44:33

bluebell Sorry I assumed that this was what it is about.

However despite how silly this ensuing thread has become it is at least better than the pointless acrimony going on on other threads.

There appears to have been only one post that seems to have tried to divert it from a conversation about babies bums and fluffy kittens.

I did...

Gorki Mon 16-Sept-13 09:02:07

This thread is getting very repetitive. Is everybody not reading it from the beginning ?confused

hummingbird Mon 16-Sept-13 08:54:55

I like babies, but couldn't eat more than one a day! smile

Iam64 Mon 16-Sept-13 08:16:04

My older relatives always said they could "eat him/her up" when cuddling the newest baby arrival to the family. Bit it's bum what another term of endearment that puzzled me as a small child.

Brendawymms Mon 16-Sept-13 07:55:02

I always eat the heads off jelly babies first to reduce suffering!

grannyactivist Mon 16-Sept-13 07:43:04

Baby asparagus is the only sort I like. Nice delicate flavour.

LizG Mon 16-Sept-13 07:15:05

....and how 'muddy' the waters are already.

JessM Mon 16-Sept-13 07:04:15

Depends of course what you mean by "eating" and what you mean by "babies" and of course, what you mean by "wrong" surely grin

bluebell Mon 16-Sept-13 06:31:20

Nellie - not quite right!

bluebell Mon 16-Sept-13 06:17:51

Definitely only human babies and only fluffy kittens - the latter with those really really big eyes -you know the ones I mean? However , we could perhaps discuss the rights and wrongs of drowning less attractive kittens but that would muddy the water of this particular thread

Jendurham Mon 16-Sept-13 01:07:55

I do not think it's right to eat baby vegetables. It must be a waste of energy. There must be an optimum size for all vegetables.
Oh, and I am vegetarian.

Sel Sun 15-Sept-13 23:29:50

I expect you are, as usual, right Bluebell. Anybody who is rich and votes Tory is bound to. They'd draw the line at puppies obviously, so useful when trained for hunting and shooting purposes grin

vampirequeen Sun 15-Sept-13 23:05:50

Are we also concerned about non-fluffy kittens or is it just the fluffy variety?

absent Sun 15-Sept-13 23:04:49

Jonathan Swift made a "Modest Proposal" concerning the poor and starving selling their babies to the rich for food. Savage indignation indeed.

glammanana Sun 15-Sept-13 23:01:12

Jelly babies now they are something I could eat grin

Gorki Sun 15-Sept-13 22:58:40

Oh I see .Thanks Nelliemoser. What a strange thread ! I think I'll go to bed .moon

Deedaa Sun 15-Sept-13 22:58:39

What about shorthaired kittens bluebell ?

I can only go back to the old joke that I love babies but I couldn't eat a whole one. I knew a village in Cornwall where the inhabitants were said to eat their young - but that may not have been true wink

Nelliemoser Sun 15-Sept-13 22:54:22

Gorki I think its a jibe at persons arguing against or contradicting any comment someone else makes.

It sounds too much like my OH for comfort. He would argue black is white!

NfkDumpling Sun 15-Sept-13 22:54:20

I just fail to understand why anyone in their right mind would want to bite a babies bottom. Even a freshly bathed one is unpredictable!

Nelliemoser Sun 15-Sept-13 22:50:34

My in laws family always talked about babies being so lovely you could just eat them. Or used the phrase "Couldn't you just bite his/her bottom." ?? That was decidedly a term of endearment.

Gorki Sun 15-Sept-13 22:47:24

I don't understand the title. Am I missing something? confused
