Lots of bonfires here - the nursery man up the road has three BIG ones going on the patch where he brings his trees on - they have been smoking for days - we are right in the country with neighbours a good distance away.

Happy sorting Mick

Good afternoon, it was bright here earlier when we went off to our class, but has really clouded over now and looks like rain. Still really hot when there is a break in the cloud. Bez we are not allowed bonfires until November.
I hope the move is going smoothly Mick and that you will be very happy in your new home.

* Harri* we are thinking of getting one next time we go out as a friend told us about them yesterday - thank you for the tip where you got one.

Another gorgeous day in the north east, blue sky and sunshine.
I had factor 25 on my face yesterday and still got a red nose.

Bez we went to Mr Bricolage and bought a tennis racquet thing, one with only metal strings though. DH can practice tennis shots while ridding the house of flies, really works. So satisfying when the little perishers go up in a blue light.

Good morning all - a warm day promised here but still overcast at present.
Good wishes to all who have a stressful or challenging day/week ahead - thinking of you flowers

Lovely and sunny here this morning - had a beautiful day yesterday. DH still working in garden - has had a on fire going for three days now he pruned so much and he has only just started.
Washing on line thank goodness BUT we have had flies in the house for a couple of weeks - tried with the swatter thing (DGS was good with that) but still here and I am fed up with my clean windows being marked so quickly - resorted to a spray now and even that is taking some time --- any ideas?

Morning all, it's a dull start here but quite warm.

I'm trying to get moving as I've been so stiff and achy for the last couple of days. Time to take some Ibuprofen methinks.

Good morning from East Sussex. We had really thick fog last night but it has cleared this morning. Calm, cloudy but warm. It's charity shop today. We had a really good day on Satuday with people buying warmer clothes and boots.

Good morning from the south east coast, and it is cloudy here, but not as chilly as it has been, although I am later up than usual! I too hope Mick is managing his move safely, terrible upheaval all this moving, but it sounds as if it is for the best. Enjoy your days everyone.

He will be thrilled Nelli. Doing split shifts like that is very difficult, my daughter and her husband do them and barely seem to meet up. So I really don't envy your DD. The weather in Somerset is cloudy but with promised possibilities.

I hoe Mick is getting on okay.

kittylester Mon 23-Sept-13 07:40:37

Sure he'll be thrilled nellie smile

Dull here today but sunshine promised later.

Hope Mick's move goes well and that everyone has a great day.

Sun rising over west Sheffield where I am babysitting for the little boy. Mum on an early shift, and left for work at 6:15am. Having given Dgs a 4am feed. She looks really tired and only got home from work at 9:45pm and is on an early shift this am. DGS still abed. I hope he won't be too disappointed its nanan and not mummy when he wakes up.
