On tenterhooks (or tenderhooks!) and slightly stressed!

Nothing is too good for DGD1 who is convinced she is really a princess!

I had to do the cutting back as I am the driver and DH was staying at home - dog etc.I had a bad moment a week before she was due when I fell while out on Grace's bedtime walkie and could barely crawl home - no way I could have driven anywhere, but fortunately nothing broken - too well padded!!

Don't know about the cake cases, I'm afraid ......gold a bit posh for me

Haven't cut back on the wine - might suggest DH cuts back on the beer just in case we get called at night

I've thought about doing the cupcakes and freezing them but the paper cases (which have to be gold!) seem to detach as they thaw - or is there a trick to it that nobody though to tell me?

Even with Baby no 2 she presumably won't pop him/her out in under a couple of hours ?? Like you, I had my bag packed for DGS2's arrival, the mobile in my pocket when I was walking the dog and never had more than one glass of wine in case I got the call!!
Just a thought - could you make the cupcakes today and freeze them, just leaving the icing for Saturday?
