Good Morning Friday

sook You are lucky to get away with "hit and miss"! Mine are usually miss.

It's been a beautiful day here in sunny Cheshire, although the wind is getting up a bit now.

Happy birthday Greatnan enjoy your celebratory meal with when who sounds like she is having a wonderful time

kitty and Nellie good luck with icing the birthday cakes I have been contemplating enrolling on a cake decorating course as basically my attempts are a bit hit and miss, although they taste good.

We have three family birthdays next month and I have been asked to make cake pops, not a problem as I have a cake pop maker but decorating them and keeping them on the sticks arggh.

Enjoy your grand children's birthdays

Good afternoon everyone, the rain that has been threatened all week has finally arrived today. Very grey, very heavy and very cold suddenly. Storm overhead at the moment. It is supposed to be fine again tomorrow but I can't imagine it. Purple wellies appeal to me, they would go with my purple umbrella. DH is saying that at least we wont have to buy any more water in.
Your holiday sounds heavenly When. Happy Birthday Greatnan enjoy yourselves tonight.

Good afternoon everyone - Happy Birthday Greatnan. Her's to a lovely meal this evening. Lovely and warm today - bright sunshine. We have been shopping all morning - despite the weather we visited Decathlon and I bought a lovely pair of short purple wellies with a fur lining -€15 - so am now ready for anything - rain, mud and snow.
Happy unpacking Mick - I am still sorting from our move last year. Most of the house is OK but we have not got the sitting room right at all and I am not quite sure why - been looking again this morning for a TV unit but could not find the not right size.

Many happy returns Greatnan, enjoy your meal.

Nellie, I'll think of you icing while I do the same.

Happy birthday greatnan. Off to Macmillan coffee morning, this afternoon!!

Many happy returns Greatnan - it sounds as though you and when are having a wonderful time. Enjoy your celebratory dinner.

Bright and sunny in London- patio doors open. It appears to be a day of washing, cleaning and cooking. A woman's work is never done.

I have laminate floors everywhere but my cat was sick on the rug in front of the fireplace. I thought that was what laminate floors were for?

Glad that the move went well Mick and happy birthday Greatnan. Mine was last Sunday and I still have not got my head around that number.

Thanks to everyone who sent me birthday wishes. Like anno, when is a very appreciative passenger, so it is a joy to show her 'my' alps.

Gorgeous, gorgeous sunny day, washing outside, I'm going down our gardens (communal) to sit by the River Thames in a minute with a cup of coffee just to sit and watch the boats bobbing around and to savour the moment.

A very happy birthday Greatnan and many more of them!

Sunny morning here and hope it is so in the Alps. Happy Birthday Greatnan.

Your share your birthday with my DGS!

Another beautiful day in the Alps - I've lost count of how many different mountain passes we've driven over to see stunning views. Off for a visit to more beauty spots and have a picnic. then tonight we'll have a celebratory meal in a restaurant down in the village. It's a hard life.......

Fairly bright here in North Bucks. Cleaning and baking for me today. Plus I have the Granddogs for company.

Good morning from Cheshire. It looks as if it might be a good day here.
I am off to decorate cover my DGS's 1st birthday cake. His first birthday.

What would our children do without us Gran's!

Good morning everyone, missed you all yesterday, not sure where the day went! Glad you are taking things slowly Mick, and hope you settle in well. We have a dull morning at the moment, but not chilly. I am going to get out into the garden again, so much needs to be tidied, and pots put away, so busy day ahead. Hope you all have an enjoyable day.

!!!

Morning Mick and Liz. We've got a red sky this morning - bit of a worry!

Off to volunteer and then to ice 36 [cupcakes] with 'flat white icing and pink stars' for DGD1's fifth birthday party tomorrow.

Hope you all have a great day.
